A company developed new technology that they needed their clients to install. Clients were skeptical of the new tech so the company tried multiple costly incentive programs that provided less than a 30% increase in recruitment. After conducting focus groups and interviews it was identified that the way the client described the new tech combined with the high incentives led to concerns about what was really being collected. New terminology was identified as well as a quick fact sheet which led to a more than 90% acceptance rate.
